The Cock and Bull has been owned by the same family since 1996 when it was purchased as a traditional watering hole and converted into a cosy, intimate inn serving honest food in lovely surroundings.
Included in the Michelin Eating Out in Pubs guide, everything is made on the premises from fresh local ingredients and the seasonally changing menu is complimented by chef’s specials.
Winner of numerous awards including Grampian Chef of the Year in 2004, 2009 and 2014 and Scottish Gastropub of the Year 2012, 2013 and 2014, the Cock and Bull has been described by award judges as…

We are now delighted to be able to offer you a place to stay in our newly refurbished Blairton Cottage and Ythan apartment. Bed and Breakfast is available for those who want to be able to enjoy our dining experience without the hassle of getting home.Open all day every day from 10:00am. Meals served from 12pm-9:00pm.
